Maurice Nii Adjei Cashinco is a Tech- enthusiast, Marketer, Business Consultant, Coach, Project Manager, Public Speaker and Africa Entrepreneurship-Policy Expert, with a background in Marketing Management (BSc) from Ghana Christian University College, a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration & Management from the Institute of Commercial Management (ICM – UK) and a Chartered Global Investment Fellow (CGIA).

Maurice is an innovative and versatile organizational leader specializing in sustainable social enterprise growth and implementing impact business transformation. A quality acknowledged by VIVO Energy International having being honoured with the Reputation Builders award for his work on social innovation on creating a recycling program and creative capacity building for communities, corporate bodies and waste pickers in and around the coastal and urban areas in Greater Accra, Ghana reaching over 12,000 individuals.

As a passionate man towards the youth employment and impact innovations on the continent of Africa; he’s always on the trajectory to focus on accelerating the adoption of the 4th industrial age technologies in solving crucial challenges and creating jobs in Africa through Human Capacity building.

As such he is, the Managing Director of Kumasi Hive; a Tech innovation Hub which through its Future Workforce for Africa Initiative trains undergraduate, unemployed and underemployed youth to acquire competent skills in emerging technologies (Internet of Things (IoT), VR/AR, Biotech, Blockchain etc) for Problem-Solution-Start-up or getting employment. The same serves as a business Incubation and Acceleration enabler to empower young persons between the ages of 18-40 with entrepreneurship development and business support services of which he mentors and Coaches over 50 MSME’s and businesses.

Maurice Cashinco is a Co-founder and now the Head of Business Development for the very innovative automotive Start-up -Solar Taxis Ghana. An automotive manufacturing company of Electric vehicles using the power of the sun as its source of energy to power these vehicles. He’s also a Co-Founder of Maiseville Group – a renewable energy company and consultancy here in Ghana; specializing in wind turbines, solar energy and Geothermal technology

With about 7 years’ experience in Project Management and in co creating innovation, and programs in the bid to improve communities and promote Entrepreneurship: he’s worked with organizations like USAID, British Council, GIZ, GRIPE (Ghana Recycling Initiative by Private Enterprises), Rotary Club and a number of NGO’s just to mention a few. Notable achievement’s include, a collation with the AGI (Association of Ghana Industries) to co-create a consortium of conglomerates and multi-national companies in Ghana to create programs and implement solutions against plastic pollution and recycling in Ghana; notably named as GRIPE (Ghana Recycling Initiative by Private Enterprises) which included, Guinness Ghana Limited, PZ Cussons, Unilever Ghana Limited, Voltic Ghana, Fanmilk Ghana, DOW, Nestle, & Coca-Cola.

Maurice also worked as the Project coordinator, Business Co-Design and Design Thinking Facilitator responsible for preparation of CCB training and Business Co-Design Master Class program for the PICK – IT project funded by the Danone Eco-fund and Fanmilk Ghana with partnership from WEIGO, M.I.T D-Lab, Tema Metropolitan Assembly and Tema Traditional Council to create a recycling program, build a sorting center and establish a design thinking and business model to empower the workers in the circular economy; mainly waste pickers to alleviate poverty and fight against plastic pollution.

He is a lead member of the I4Policy forum – a network of stakeholders across 25 countries in Africa in government, private sector and entrepreneurs to support the emergence of relevant policy reforms driven by local communities of “policy users (people affected by public policy) building tools, methodologies and trainings to support common interest formation and public policy co-creation at scale.

Renowned as a motivational and inspirational leader capable of training and developing teams to enable them to fulfil their potential and deliver excellence.
