Tech in Ghana: Accra Edition, was originally hosted in partnership in 2017 with Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, the Minister for Communications & Digitalization. Since then, it has grown to become the country’s premier platform for bringing together leaders from the public, private, and third sectors. The two-day event has been supported and attended by entities including the Office of the Vice President, British High Commission, World Bank, Meta, Visa, GIZ, Ghana Hubs Network, GIPC and many more.
TIG: Accra Edition is not just a platform for convening leaders, but also for showcasing the cutting-edge of Ghana’s tech talent. The event has featured exhibitions of some of the country’s most innovative startups and entrepreneurs, and in 2022 highlighted the rapid growth of Ghana’s gaming and esports scene, showcasing the talent and potential of the industry in the country.
