Nana Osei Kwasi Afrifa

Nana Osei is the CEO of Vokacom Limited. Under his leadership Vokacom’s in-house addressing solution, AsaaseGPS was repurposed and scaled up to a National Addressing System which was adopted by the Government of Ghana as the nation’s official addressing system christened GhanaPostGPS.

Prior to its development, Ghana lacked a comprehensive, standardized and unified addressing system. The AsaaseGPS solution sought to solve this existing problem of poor addressing in the country for individuals, companies and emergency services.

With a synthesis of passion, intellect and strong work ethic, Nana built a formidable team to take on the digital addressing project beating twenty-seven other companies in a competitive international bid.

He led the successful roll out of the project which was launched on 18 October 2017.

Nana spearheaded Vokacom’s foray and subsequent growth in the Vodafone Value Added Service market. This completed Vokacom’s coverage of all major Telecommunication companies in Ghana. His insistence on service quality also ensured that Vokacom’s Content Management System which gives Vokacom a competitive edge in Ghana’s Value Added Service market was maintained and enhanced. This resulted in a 20% growth in VAS revenues to GHS 40.5 million in 2017.

Together with team Vokacom, Nana kept innovating with the development of a Paperless Office Suite, a portal for the Hajj Commission to enable seamless end to end management of the Hajj Pilgrimage.

He has also brought to the industry a plethora of experience and leadership qualities derived from working with leading businesses in Europe and Africa.
