Mr Millison Narh is the First Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana with responsibility for payment systems policy and oversight, banking operations, information and communication technology and training and development among others. Prior to his appointment as a Deputy Governor, he spearheaded major developments in payment system reform in Ghana. Notable amongst the developments were the cheque codeline clearing with truncation, automated clearing house and e-zwich smart card. He has extensive experience in central banking, particularly government accounts management, currency issue, central bank accounting, networking and branch operations, financial regulations, internal controls and compliance.

Previous positions held in the Bank of Ghana include, Advisor on banking operations and payment systems, Head of Banking Department, which includes payment system; Head of Branch Banking and Chief Internal Auditor.

He holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce Degree concurrently with a Diploma in Education and a Masters Degree in Banking and Finance. He is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana.
