Paul Damalie is the Co-founder and CEO of Inclusive Financial Technologies. Inclusive is a pan-African identity verification and compliance infrastructure that helps financial services onboard, verify and monitor identities of their customers. Inclusive is backed by the Gates Foundation and a member of the DFS Lab, a world class accelerator for fintech firms in emerging markets.
Paul is an influencer in Ghana’s Fintech landscape. As a member of the Financial Inclusion Forum Africa he has actively contributed to organising the fintech landscape through stakeholder events, contributing to legislation in financial inclusion; publishing and sharing insights on developments in Ghana’s fintech sector and Africa at large for institutions such as the United Kingdom Trade and Investment (UKTI) office in Ghana.
In 2017, he was selected by the Ecobank Group as one of the top 20 African fintech startups; thus an Ecobank Fintech Fellow. He is also the curator of the Ghana Technology Entrepreneurs Network, which provides a platform for entrepreneurs to actively engage and share knowledge. Paul studied Banking and Finance at Radford University College, and is an alumni of the prestigious Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology (MEST).
