She has worked as a business development consultant, marketing assistant and investment officer for companies such as Crédit Agricole, BPSIs, and Amzill Management, whose business operations span across Paris, France, London, UK, Douala, Cameroon and Accra, Ghana. Currently she works in the Trade and Investment Bureau/Diaspora Desk at the Embassy of Ghana in Paris.
She founded the Ghana-France Business Club, a private trade association, to promote investment in the Ghanaian economy and the provision of investment facilitation services to French investors and Ghanaians within the diaspora seeking to carry out entrepreneurial endeavours back in Ghana.
Furthermore, she was selected as a laureate for the 2019 edition of the French-African Foundation Young Leaders Programme, a highly selective leadership programme under the patronage of President Emmanuel Macron of France and President Nana Akufo-Addo of Ghana, that seeks to encourage dialogue between emerging leaders of France and Africa. Through the GFBC, Maxine hopes to create a robust franco-ghanaian business community in France, lay the foundation for a Ghana Chamber of Commerce by 2023 and hopes to pursue a career in investment promotion.
