Albert Opoku

Albert is a co-founder of Hapaweb Solutions and hapaSpace. Hapaweb is a Ghanaian cloud, web and mobile applications company, while hapaSpace is an innovation and tech hub in Kumasi supporting the technology and entrepreneurial ecosystem. He has over 13 years' experience in the tech industry and business. He is alumni of the University of Ghana and the University of Bath (UK) as well as a Chevening Scholar.

Before co-founding Hapaweb Solution, Albert worked with the British Council as Projects Manager, Northern Sector Manager for Ghana and Digital Services Manager for Sub-saharan Africa. As a trainer, facilitator and consultant, he has worked for numerous organisations including Google, Barclays Bank, University of Ghana, MTN Telecom and Vodafone across 10 countries.

He is passionate about volunteerism and mentoring and has volunteered for programmes such as Hours of Code, Code4Girls, Barcamp Ghana etc. directly impacting on the lives of over 600 young people.
