Adjoa Asamoah is an Information Systems Auditor with the Central Bank of Ghana whose primary role is to ensure that controls within the internal processing environment are adequate and effective.
With a keen sense for coordinated structures and security, Adjoa believes in assessing an entities critical system, technology architecture and processes to assure information assets are protected, reliable, available and compliant with stipulated policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations.
Adjoa has over a decade’s working experience starting from Deloitte where she helped developed Enterprise Risk Service (IT Audits wing) of the firm and served as external auditors for organisations within the country.
In addition, she has worked for, and with some of the major universal banks in Ghana to strategically develop and streamline technology and security processes and products.
Adjoa is a certified systems auditor (CISA), security manager (CISM), risk management (CRISC), governance of enterprise IT (CGEIT) and ISO 27001 lead auditor.
Adjoa holds a BSc in Computer Science from Ashesi University in Accra, Ghana.
