Dr Dennis Addo is a Physician, Entrepreneur and an Innovator who is passionate about healthcare in Africa. Dr Dennis is the founder and CEO of Claron Health International, an Innovative Corporate Health & Wellness Company involved in the delivery of Medical and Preventive Health Services in Ghana and other parts of Africa. Dr Dennis through Claron is building the biggest Healthcare Company in Africa by pioneering the use of Innovative and Smart Healthcare Solutions that aims to make a big impact on healthcare delivery.
Dennis is the Co-founder and Chief Medical Officer of Bisa Health Application. Bisa, which means ‘ask’ in the Ghanaian Twi language, is a mobile application that allows users with an Android, iPhone or Windows Phone to directly interact with medical practitioners without being physically present at the hospital. His passion for health and wellness is as a results of his working experiences in many remote rural communities in Ghana and other parts of Africa as a physician.
Dr Dennis is a Member of the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeon, and worked as a Physician and Health Consultant with the Ghana Armed Forces and the 37 Military Hospital in Accra, Ghana. He was the Director of the Military Tuberculosis Control Program and Deputy Head in charge of Health Policy Planning and Occupational Health.
He was recently appointed to the Board of the National Health Insurance Authority by the President of the Republic of Ghana with a clear mandate to help review, reform and reshape the NHIS with the aim of producing the best Social Healthcare for all Ghanaians.
