Anna is a co-Founder of Kumasi Hive, a makerspace and innovation hub in Ghana. Her background includes running a factory, a stint as managing director of a tech start-up, and nearly a decade of supply chain consulting for multinational companies and NGOs.
She is now convinced that new manufacturing technologies offer a way for developing economies to leapfrog to a new supply chain model. She is a founding member of the MakerNet consortium, which tests out these ideas. She mentors hardware businesses and is an advocate of local innovation and manufacturing being essential for sustainable development.
